What's the Big Idea? (English)

Global Forest Watch (GFW) mobilizes satellite technology, open data, and human networks to provide timely information on the state of the world's forests. Convened by the World Resources Institute and a host of partners, GFW will combine near-real-time satellite monitoring technology, forest management and company concession maps, protected areas maps, mobile technology, crowd-sourced data, and on-the-ground networks to promote transparency in forests.
