Making Paris Work: Leveraging the Expertise of Non-Party Stakeholders To Design the Paris Rulebook

In this side event, presenters and participants were invited to showcase or share their views on the positive role non-state actors can play in designing a cohesive, robust and effective Paris rulebook.

The PACT (Project for Advancing Climate Transparency) consortium shared key findings from their recent paper “Mapping the Linkages between the Transparency Framework and Other Provisions of the Paris Agreement.” This paper unpacks complex concepts and inform the design of the Paris rulebook to be adopted by 2018 in a more participatory regime.

The event was organized and supported by the World Resources Institute, Project for Advancing Cliamte Transparency, Caribbean Community Climate Change Centre, ClimateWorks Foundation, European Commission, and The Prospect Hill Foundation.
